Celigo: Clear Flows and Process Focus
Celigo organizes integrations as flows that move and change data between endpoints. Its 2026 editions differ in endpoints, environments, log retention, concurrency, SSO, and support. Enterprise includes unlimited endpoints, while Standard and Professional list three each.[1]
Celigo is worth testing when the buying team wants visible data flows and repeatable app-to-app processes. It can be especially relevant when NetSuite is a key system. Still, custom records, complex tax rules, EDI, and unusual APIs can require deeper technical work.

Boomi: Broad Enterprise and Hybrid Options
Boomi offers Integration editions plus separate API Management, Data Hub, and Data Integration options. Its Integration plans add features for environments, enterprise connectors, custom roles, clustered runtimes, high availability, and message queuing as the editions rise.[2]
This breadth can suit companies with cloud and on-premises systems, multiple integration styles, or mature IT governance. It can also create more choices to design and manage. Confirm which runtimes, connectors, environments, and support levels are included.
Workato: Recipe-Based Automation
Workato's current direct-customer pricing combines a platform edition fee with usage charges. Its editions build from Standard to Business, Enterprise, and Workato One. Extra capabilities can also be purchased based on the plan and contract.[3]
Workato is a strong candidate when business automation and integration need to meet in one workspace. Its recipe model can be easy to follow. Usage still needs careful modeling because executed steps and product capabilities affect how the current pricing model measures work.
Pricing Models Are Not Directly Comparable
Do not compare one quote line with another. Celigo prices around endpoints and flows. Boomi offers annual subscriptions and a monthly pay-as-you-go option. Workato uses edition and usage fees for current direct customers. These units measure different things.

All three vendors publish security and compliance information. Celigo makes its SOC 2 report available to customers and prospects under a mutual NDA.[4] Boomi reports annual SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations and lists other compliance programs in its Trust Center.[5] Workato lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and other frameworks, with detailed audit reports available under NDA.[6]
Certifications are only one part of the review. Check data paths, regions, access roles, secrets, logs, retention, recovery, subprocessors, and incident terms. NIST also recommends due diligence on suppliers and the technology they provide.[10]
Run the Same Proof of Concept
In this study, we ran one high-value process on the same scorecard. The test used real data, custom fields, a difficult exception, and expected peak volume. We forced an API error and changed a credential. Then a future operator had to find the failure and recover the record.
